There’s a new place to go when you’re craving pulled pork, smoked chicken, ribs and all the fixings. Moe’s Original BBQ in Troy is now open in downtown. What’s more, this Moe’s will be serving more than just Alabama-style barbecue.

Are you wondering what else Moe’s, known for their slow-smoked pulled pork and smoked chicken wings, is dishing up in our neck of the woods? According to reports, Moe’s Original BBQ in Troy also has fresh Gulf Coast shrimp and catfish. 

Moe’s Original BBQ celebrated their grand opening last Monday, March 18th, at the new location on The Square. The restaurant features an 1,800-square-foot deck out back for outdoor dining and more. Guests can also access one of two windows to order cold beer and other drinks.

And if you’re in the mood for Moe’s but not in the mood to leave your couch, you can order Moe’s Original BBQ in Troy on DoorDash. Eventually, the location will add online ordering for in-store pick-up. But for now, make your plans to head downtown to check out this fun new restaurant.

Founded in Vail., Colo., by Southern boys who met at the University of Alabama in the 1980s, Moe’s Original BBQ has grown to more than 50 locations across the country. According to Moe’s story, the three founding members honed their cooking skills and together created something special. 

Now, barbecue fans can enjoy that signature smoked with fruit wood taste, complemented with one of two sauces and washed down with a bushwhacker.
