What can you do at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama?

Visitors can see artifacts and even visit a cabin and tenant house. The museum has endless exhibits to visit across its 40 acres. It also offers classes and programs where you can learn to plant and cook like the pioneers. Finally, it hosts annual events where you can step back in time, like the Pioneer Days in October and Ole Time Christmas in December.
Don’t worry—you don’t need a time machine to visit the pioneers. The Pioneer Museum of Alabama is open Thursdays to Saturdays from 9 am to 4 p.m. It’s also located at 248 Highway 231 North in Troy. As for tickets, they cost $8 for children 6 and older, $9 for seniors, and $10 for adults. Children aged 5 and younger can attend for free!
