The Square will soon have a little more flavor thanks to one upcoming business. The Corner in Downtown Troy is just around the corner from opening its doors!
The Corner
In case you haven’t heard the news, The Corner in Downtown Troy plans to open next month. The high-end barbecue place will serve delicious dishes starring pork and chicken cooked slow and low.
Maybe the best way to explain it is to say if you like Hook’s Barbecue off Highway 231 South, you’ll like The Corner.
According to reports, pit master Richard Alexander and owner of Hook’s, Adam Renfroe, have teamed up to bring good barbecue to the downtown square.
More specifically, The Corner in Downtown Troy will be located on the corner of South Oak Street and East Church Street.
The menu
While the menu hasn’t been finalized yet, it has been revealed it will be an evolving menu. Menu items will feature pork and chicken served as sliders, on flatbread, as smoked wings, on salads and more.
Guests can sit back and enjoy a casual dining experience with good barbecue, music, sports and drinks. The Corner will have a full-service bar serving cold beer and craft cocktails.
The hours
As of now, The Corner in Downtown Troy will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the week. On the weekend—as in Friday and Saturday—the new restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
