Outlaw’s Bussin BBQ is now open and, in their own words, serving “premium Southern BBQ with a unique kicking taste.” In fact, the new barbecue joint’s Facebook page goes on to state, “it’s the best you can find anywhere!”
Actually, the very word “bussin” is slang for anything that is “really good,” like music, a party or food, for example. So, if you consider yourself a barbecue connoisseur, you may want to make plans to sample Outlaw’s tender ribs, pulled pork or juicy chicken. But that’s not all that’s on the menu.
The menu
Along with the lip-smacking barbecue, visitors will find hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Philly cheesesteak, wings, loaded baked potatoes and loaded fries on the menu. Pair your choice of meat with two sides, which range from coleslaw to French fries to potato salad to Brunswick stew to fried okra and more.
As far as the wings go, flavors include plain, lemon pepper, buffalo or smothered Outlaw’s own signature Dragon Sauce. Not only is the Dragon Sauce a unique recipe, but so is the handmade rub that makes Outlaw’s barbecue “bussin.”
Location
Outlaw’s Bussin BBQ is located at 901 South Three Notch St., which happens to be less than two miles from Troy Alabama Apartment Homes. That means you can be snacking on “fall off the bone ribs” after about a five-minute drive.
Better yet, put on your walking shoes and work up an appetite with about a 30- to 40-minute walk there. And work off what you eat with the return walk home for a win-win.
