The Annual City of Troy Christmas Parade 2019 lets residents show off their Christmas spirit. They can choose between watching the parade and joining it with a float of their own! Plus, there’s a tree-lighting ceremony after, and Santa himself will be a part of the festivities. This year, the theme is “Christmas Traditions!”
Entering a Float
The deadline for entering a float is nearly here, so make sure that you register in a timely manner. Anyone who wants to have a float in the parade must submit this form, along with a description of their entry, by Nov. 15 at 12 p.m.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2019. What a great start to the month! Attendees can start lining up at—but not before—6 p.m. Floats must be there by 6:30 p.m. As for its location, the parade itself will begin at Elm Street and end at the Troy Public Library.
